This cookbook is a compilation of our family heritage recipes primarily from my Grandmama Hall and my mother, Geraldine Booe. Most are from the 1940's-1970's but we still make them today. This is my "Go-To" cookbook in which are many of our family favorites.

The second of my Family Heritage cookbooks, this one compiles recipes of both family members and close friends. Most of these recipes are from the 1970's-2008 and are more contemporary than the recipes in the first cookbook.

Emergency Chef: Preparing Convenient Meals in Inconvenient Times

image6

A few years ago, we were without power for 12 days. I was staying with my mother 45 miles away, but my husband had to stay home and take care of the house and get back and forth to his work. It was a real struggle. Hence, I wrote this Emergency Chef book to help prepare meals during inconvenient times when there may be long periods without power. All recipes use canned foods with a few fresh vegetables that one would probably have in their pantry. Easy to prepare and tasty to eat!
